October 18, 2007 Oh No This Nobel Peace Prize Winner Didn’t…
…… claim black people are less intelligent than whites in a recent newspaper interview. Take me higher lord! A British museum decided to cancel a lecture by Dr. James Watson who co-discovered the DNA double helix after he made some absolutely racist comments.
The eminent biologist told the British newspaper he was “inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa” because “all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours — whereas all the testing says not really.”
The Nobel Peace Prize winner went on to say:
In the newspaper interview, he said there was no reason to think that races which had grown up in separate geographical locations should have evolved identically. He went on to say that although he hoped everyone was equal, “people who have to deal with black employees find this not true”.

The nail in the coffin was the last quote. Is this really the “scientific evidence” he’s using to support his ASSumption/theory. If so, he’s proving his lack of intelligence at the same time.

This is disgusting and unfortunately there are others who share these ignorant views. I had a sociology professor who would often say things similar to this in class.

That’s not all. An article up on the BBC sites says “The scientist has courted controversy in the past, saying a woman should have the right to abort her unborn child if tests could determine it would be homosexual.”. Now that’s one hateful old bastard. Off with his dried up little apple head!

Listen people there is no need to get offended by that comment. When I read it, I just felt sorry for the guy….the poor thing is so ignorant, and besides, just because he won a nobel peace prize, doesn’t make him smart in anything else other than his field of work. As a black person, I know I am intelligent, I don’t need to prove anything to anyone other than myself.
Obviously this guy feels the need to humiliate other race to look good, and that’s truly sad.

Ok why are you people getting so angry? Is this like a BET website or something? This guy has done decades of research which have lead him to believe from a scientific perspective, that black people really are inherently less intelligent. There *might* be some truth to it, I don’t know – I’m not a genetic scientist.
