Mariah Carey looks absof@#kinglutely splendiferous on the November cover of Glamour magazine! Can we say wow, hot tamale! Yes, it’s photo-shopped to high heaven but what isn’t (refer to Christina’s new perfume ad and Beyonce’s American Express Ad for better examples of photo-shopping)! Mariah Carey looks super duper orgasmic on this cover and signals the publicity blitz that’s about to be unleashed as we move into this holiday season! I’m so happy that she went back to her honey brown hair color, ladies and gentlemen now that’s amazing hair! And that form-fitting diamond-studded dress was the perfection selection for MC’s divine womanly curves! Well done! (A)

I was actually waiting for you to comment on this. She looks so damn hot in the cover shot, I really want to do naughty things to her.
Now this might be my biased opinion, but I don’t think it’s photoshopped to the umph degree. I’m not in denial that it is indeed photoshopped; as this is my line of work, but this is as close to her body frame as we’ve seen in a while.
I hate to nit-pick but the photoshopper took the head up slightly higher than I would have liked…..sorry if I ruined it for anyone.

Know what? I photoshop people for a living and I am seriously waging a war in my department to make people look more like people and less like…I dunno. Illustrations of people. Processed until the natural highlights and shadows are all gone and you get what looks like plastic. I hate it and I will keep on fighting it. That is not Mariah. That’s a Mariah-like illustration. And what they did to America Ferrara? Like the man says. Take me higher. That girl was pretty BEFORE they photoshopped her. Thank you.

Hey deborah smooth, while I applaud your persistence at standing for what you believe in, I must say that “real people” do not pay to see “real people.”
Any type of alteration, be it small, is going against the “natural” look of a person. I understand that some photoshop artists will go overboard with their projects, but I’m never confused with the fact that at the end of the day it is a product that is being sold and I have to make that product look as flawless as humanly possible.
…..and to be honest, that is what I signed up for. I sell a fantasy.
In this case with Mariah’s cover shot, I find everything to be on point; except, like I mentioned before I wouild have brought her head down a tad.
