September 27, 2007 Alicia Keys Looking Good But…
… I’m not too sure about those black and white gloves! Alicia Keys who was honored last night during a benefit gala for The Recording Academy’s New York Chapter looked just splendiferous as she rocked this black and white ensemble, but for some reason I’m not really feeling the gloves. What do you think?

i was there last night, and i was thinking the same damn thing!! loved the outfit and in person…she looked even better. but when she was giving her acceptance speech, which was so heartfelt, i could not stop thinking “those damn gloves!! whyyyyyy?” P.S.–shes really creepin up to take over J. Lo’s booty queen crown…lol

i wouldn’t have minded the ensemble had the gloves been red and without ties; and yes i did say red!

The gloves threw me off also, but I don’t think we would remember black pants and a white shirt as much if it weren’t for the gloves. She is beautiful and definitely stepping her style game up lately. Have you seen her video? Enough said.
