September 24, 2007 New Video: Rihanna and Ne-Yo
Rihanna is back with a new video for her duet with Ne-Yo, “Hate That I Love You”. I like the song and everytime I hear it I can’t get it out of my head. My only beef with the song is that the beat sounds exactly like Ne-Yo’s “So Sick”. But in all honesty that’s not Ne-Yo’s fault, that blame belongs to Stargate, the beatmaking team that produced both songs. As far as the video, it’s beautifully shot and I love the clothes (especially Rihanna in the black trench…FIERCE).
Somebody needs to tell Ne-Yo that it’s ok to emulate Michael Jackson but give it a rest, Damn! I’m also a little confused by the video’s ending. Were they supposed to be an ex-couple or did they not even know each other. I’m a little confused. Take a look and tell me what you think!

I think they were in a relationship together and broke up…they still love each other but have move on to new partners

Yeah i think that they were playing themselves but they were dating to diffrent people and thats why they smiled when they saw each other on the elevator.

Shit I don’t know. It reminds me of CiCi and Bow “like you” and riri’s outfit looks irreplacealbeish! Maybe they know about each other’s significant others?

I think the video alloys you to think how you want which makes it different. So many videos do the thinking for you. Like poetry or artwork, the only thing that matters is how you interpret it.
