So apparently Britney wanted to go brown at the last minute, Vegas Confidential is reporting:
Britney Spears’ backstage drama Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards included her insistence that she wanted to have brown hair.
But she was overruled by her management team and she wore extensions from Jessica Simpson’s Hair-u-Wear line, Vegas Confidential has learned.
Backstage spies say Spears pitched a fit. She had arranged for her own hair stylist to make the trip for $10,000 and “she wanted to go brown, but her people said ‘no way,’” said a backstage source.
It’s sounds like all types of unnecessary shinagans was going on leading up to Brit-Brit’s tragic performance! But in the end only Britney is to blame and the excuses need to stop now!

Damn.. they have been catchin some good pictures of her.. LOL.. these pictures dont even look like the performance I saw on tv..She looks like pure sex and energy in the picture above.. I didnt see that at the VMA’s

I guess she never learned play hard or go home. If she had, she would have stayed home with her performance. Her hair, what she wore and how she looked in what she wore is not near as important as how poorly she performed. I am not a Britney fan and I still wanted her to do well. Oh well, she had to go and prove my (and several others) low opinions right.

come on , give her a break , she has been in this since 17 , I have faith she will come back . Contrary to what MEDIA REPORTS , she does not look high or on alcohol that night . I think she didn’t want to do it … You don’t just forget how to dance . She is allowed TO CHANGE HER MIND . SHE IS THE BOSS , she is the cash cow for her managament and all the hangers on … If i was britney i would be like get me what i want, support me or you don’t get paid .. actually i think we witnessed britney trying to take control. She is not strong enough , she needs some vip people to back her .

DITTO!!.. 2 all u just said!!…. she looked like she took a sedative or was on some otha heavy madication…. da hair, da outfit(or lack thereof), da lip syncin, & (esp) da horrid performance she gave made her look plum foolish & ahem “a monkey doodled mess”…. love dat phrase b scott & i love u… keep doin u & u shud b in mourning… i neva was a brit brit fan but i didnt wanna c da fall of her career or her sanity… R.I.P britney spears….. lol
