Britney has no one to blame other than herself for her disastrous Sunday VMA performance.
A little birdie is telling me that she arrived almost three-and-a-half hours late for rehearsal, refused to attempt the more complicated dance moves, and remixed the outfit she was supposed to wear.
Page Six is reporting:
”She didn’t even get to Las Vegas until 4:30 p.m. It was ridiculous . . . The production people at MTV were freaking out . . . Nobody can tell Britney what to do anymore. No one can control her. She is a mess”
Once she arrived Brit-Brit couldn’t do the more the intricate dance moves, and so they were cut.
“The dance number was spectacular – without her. When the stand-in was rehearsing with the dancers, in the hours they were all waiting for her, it was amazing,” the source said. “Then Britney showed up and refused to do anything. The dancers were supposed to lift and twirl her in the air a few times, and that just wasn’t going to happen. The more complicated dance moves had to be erased because she couldn’t do them.”
In terms of the outfit this what the little birdie had to say:
“MTV wanted her to wear a corset outfit. It would have looked great and covered a lot of things up, but she hated it and didn’t think it was sexy enough,” the insider says. Instead, Britney opted to rock a barely there bra-and-underwear outfit she’d brought with her that emphasized her weight gain.
One would think that after such a horrible performance Britney would go home and regroup but no she was at the club partying till 3am! Take me higher lord!

Whoever made that video is trying too hard to cover up for Britney’s own mistakes. That heel was not broken, and if it was it wouldn’t have magically fixed itself by the end of the performance. This person has obvious never seen a drunk person in heels before. If you don’t have your balance, the heel of your foot doesn’t rest properly in the shoe, causing the heel to look like it’s bending.
If Britney was stumbling and putting too much of her weight on the heel (and she WAS) of course the heel would be bending all over the place like it was (that’s simple DANCER knowledge). But it’s not the heel’s fault the performance was bad. Probably had more to do with her partying all night and NOT rehearsing.

Okay, I just watched that video. That heel was soooo broken. I’ve seen the photo before, but that video makes it plain to see in motion. She did whatever she could to not make it snap off, by being light on that foot. But I do have to say, that it doesn’t make up for her not being focused on rehearsing her performace and deciding to half-ass it.

umm i’m trying to figure why they were reporting she got to vegas at 4 something when she was in vegas the previous night partying with Diddy? riddle me that batman.
that would mean she left vegas at some obscure early morning hour to _____ (you fill in the blank) and then returned to vegas that afternoon? seems highly unlikely to me…
and eff the damn broken heel! if beyonce can walk down a flight of stairs on tip toe because her stilleto is tucked in the tulle of her dress this bloated whore can dance with a broken heel…that is if she’s a “real” performer
and the barbie clip in weave…no words…i’m tired of talking about this chick…she’s washed up…like sarah said she’s accomplished everything she will in life already…good night Britney…

I really think people have high and low points in there career. Britney has the same thing…even if her heel was broken, she still could have put enthusiasm in the damn dance moves.

OK, okay……. so lets move on to everything else that was wrong with the performance. Why was her weave so bad? Did her comb/brush/entire hair stylist break? Why did she have all of her belly jiggle out? Did her abs break? Is that why there were all flubber? Whatever, Brittney sucks now. Get over it, move on.

ya’ll kill me cuttin her up about her body and how she’s “fat” now. Spoiledbritt, I guarentee you that Britney spears is in way better shape than you even at her off peak. Her body now is better than 99% of chicks. She looked hot(minus the clip in weave) and I’m glad this video offered somehwat of an explanation on y her performance was not what it should have been. I still think she could’ve put more effort but whatever. My whole point is that her body is bangin and y’all fat chicks need to stop hatin.
