For the follow-up, she’s hewing close to Mimi’s glossy, club-ready sound, with beats from Jermaine Dupri, Stargate, Bryan Michael Cox and Will.i.am. “Seriously, I can’t wait to put this record out,” says Carey. “I’m in the studio day and night trying to cook it to perfection.
