Alicia Keys graces the cover of the September issue of Vegas Magazine. One of my favorite singers opens up about being comfortable in her own skin, why she won’t date in the industry and her new beau!
AK on being comfortable in her skin:
“I am less rigid and more open to different experiences now.”
AK on who she’s being dating:
“We have been dating for more than a year,” “It’s a good thing, because if we weren’t, who is really good out there to date? I think to myself, If I were not with my current friend, the options are not that good. I would have to date a banker or worker.”
AK on dating in the men in the entertainment business:
“No, I am not interested in guys in the industry. They are tainted,” “you sit back and wonder, how many women has this man slept with? And I don’t want to know. No, thanks, I will never be apart of anyone’s list.”
AK on her beau’s qualities:
“He is really brilliant. I need someone mental,” “He has great conversation, and I love that. I cannot stand conversing with someone and in a few minutes they run out of things to talk about.” “He very much allows me to be my own woman. I don’t like controlling guys. Most guys are so insecure and don’t know how to handle a woman who can make her own moves. He is self-driven and has his own dreams and goals. I love that about him. We can flow in a lot of different ways.”

Wow! AK looks incredible! Now she’s a truly talented person. These other chicks in the game can hold a candle to her intelligence, musical talent, and voice. She doesn’t have to shake her ass and weave uncontrollably, and release her stuff multiple times to sell records. AK will always rise to the top!
