Bonde Do Role is a Brazilian baile (dance) funk group that mixes guitar riffs with a miami-bass sound and the Brazilian based music style of funk carioca. Originally from Curitiba in the South of Brazil, their musical influence hails from the shantytowns of Rio de Janeiro. Working with DJ mega-producer, Diplo, has transformed their sound into something addictive, playful and hard to let go of. The Philadelphia based Diplo has also worked with another star on the rise, similar in style and execution to Bonde Do Role – the artist M.I.A.
