August 25, 2007 New Music: Brandy Snippets
Brandy is expected to release a new album this year and some new snippets have recently surfaced that may or may not be additions to the new project. I’m a die hard Brandy fan so this is really good news.

For all you underground music heads, you may recognize the song, “Escape”, as a cover of Kiley Dean’s unreleased track by the same name. Kiley and Brandy became good friends when they were both working with Timbaland (Kiley was working with her now shelved album Simple Girl and Brandy was working on Afrodisiac). I’ll have to listen to Brandy’s full version before I can make a call on who sang it better, but it will take a helluva lot to touch Kiley’s version. Anyway Enjoy Love Muffins.
P.S. If you’re scratching your head saying who the hell is Kiley Dean… Stay tuned because I’ll educate you a little later. For now, here’s Kiley Dean’s version of “Escape”. Flawless!

I am definitely ready for a Brandy comeback but I have only two requests of her, one is she comes with some smoking ballads which she didn’t do on Afrodisiac and put “Follow Me” on there. The song would fit perfectly with the concept of the album according to the four snippets. Please come with some ballads that move me like on Never Say Never.

I love Brandy and I hope she comes back stronger than ever. The snippets are hot I’m especailly feelin’ “So Good”.
As for the song “Escape” Brandy’s version is better because the lyrics seem like they have to sung with feelin’ and Kiely’s version is more uptempo. I’ll always support B and the KO movement. – KO’s Princess Leezy
