August 24, 2007 First Single: Jordin Sparks
Here we have the first single from the most recent winner of American Idol—Jordin Sparks. It’s a cute song produced by Stargate and co-written by Amanda Ghost. It sounds very pop. We hope it’s strong enough for her to squeeze into place with the other pop and R&B artists who will be releasing singles and albums this summer and fall. Although she is young (just out of high school, in fact), this sounds a little too young and breezy. We don’t want Jordin to get blown out of the water by the competition!

I LOVE THIS SONG!… I wasnt really expecting anything special from Jordin… and didnt watch her Season of American Idol… but I am presently suprized.. her voice is bomb and the way she sings the words has me hooked.. Beat kinda sounds like Irreplaceable tho…

Why? Everything produced by stargate got the beat TO THE LEFT… TO THE LEFT. his Rihanna song and this are just copycat beats of Beyonce’s to the left?

Maybe I just like the vocal production…. The beat does sound like a bad copy of ” to the left” but the vocals r bomb
