August 23, 2007 New Music: Britney Spears’ “Baby Boy”
Ryan Seacrest played a new song, “Baby Boy” from Britney Spears on his 102.7 KIIS-FM radio show this morning. CLICK HERE to download the mp3! I personally connect with the passion in her voice, it’s definitely not a single but it’s so real! I love it with extra sugar on top!

Everyday, I’m in a daze
Looking for that someone
And everyday, I sit and kneel and pray
Oh, sweet love, can I get some?
So why do you desert me, baby boy?
I need your love right now!
And if you desert me, baby boy
Don’t you leave me in your crowd
Talking
Hey baby, what time you gonna get home?
Oh, really?
[Sigh]
Alright, well, I’ll see you later, then
Oh, wait
Would you mind getting some…
Yeah, when you come home
Yeah, that’s it
I love you too
Bye
[Singing again]
Some day when you see my face
You will think that you have won
And some day when it’s all away
Our love just begun
So why did you desert me, baby boy?
I thought that you, you were the one
So if you preferred the other one
She won’t bring you the sun

B, you really need to talk about this song in your next youtube video. The song is getting MAD hate but I love it to death. I’m not Britney’s biggest fan, but I too am connecting with the raw emotion she is singing with in this song. Damn, you KNOW K-Fed really fucked with a bitch’s head if even Britney can go up in the studio and write/sing some deep shit like this.
She BETTER hit us with some poppy club-bangers, but if the rest of her album takes on this dark passion I think it’ll be the first Britney album I actually buy.

I liked the song too. I feel for her and want her to win! She’s a sag just like me. Hurray for the late November, early December babies. We’ve got it tough. When we love, we love hard. And when we have to turn away it cuts us to the gut!
I liked toxic as well, but if Britney can get clean and keep getting in touch with that pain that she has experienced she will come back with an older audience and better than before. I want that for her. She can do it. She has experienced a lot. I feel for her and hope that she will be better. Get it out girl, get it out creatively!

X-tina,she is not,but there is something haunting about her voice a yearning to be heard.Brit-Brit needs to get a grounded and mature team around her to first tell her no and stop the madness!!! You canNOT look to someone to make you whole BOOBOO..whoever her Babyboy is channel the pain to get your sanity back..Welcome to adulthood you are almost there just know it can be done.Trust.thanks B for finding this glimpse of hope for us who still believe in Brit’s true redemption.

The sing is nice, but can’t really say anything much about her vocals
