B. Scott, I just totally love you. I love your videos and I love your candor and passion. This particular video is the best one out of all the videos you have ever done, because you’re right, it’s time to tell society to jump off bridge and let me live!!! You’re always so positive, and that’s why I’m a big fan. Keep it up!!!

OWN IT BABY OWN IT!!! I MUST SAY IT WAS A PLEASURE TO HEAR YOUR WORDS OF WISDOM. YOU ARE FIERCE, SEXY AND LOVED BY MANY BECAUSE YOU ARE LOVE… THAT IS SOMETHING THEY CAN NEVER TAKE AWAY FROM YOU.

You are completely correct. I always had issues of not being black enough or not being white enough, mind you I am not even white however very fair skinned. Sometimes the hurtful words are from the closest people to you. Sad to say but I noticed the people that have a problem, at least with me, wasn’t secure in who they was as a person. Therefore, they would try to break me down to there level, so they can feel better about themselves. Oh well, my DIVA friend sent me a passage that she found and it helped me realize that I was better than mediocore and the rest was history.

I’ve been to hell and back
I spill shit, trip and embarrassed myself
I can’t just flutter my eyes and get that boy.
My life is messed up,
I’ve been through more shit than you see on TV.
Nobody’s perfect.
I’ve been lied to, cheated on and had my heart stolen.
I’ve fucked up, fucked up people, and been fucked up,
but every hit was worth it because I felt it.
I knew it was real, life is real, and I’m living it wrong everyday.
I’m fucking up royally and doing everything opposite,
but do I regret one thing??? NEVER
because at one point, I did what I wanted, and I got my satifaction
My life is mines, and no stupid BITCHES or immature BOYS can fuck it up for me anymore.
I am the real deal and I’d love to see you TRY AND FUCKIN BREAK ME.

Thanks B. As a Black & ??? I have always dealt with the not-enough factor. As I mature I am dealing with the HATE (better) than I used to. A lot of the reason I am where I am is because of something someone ’said’ to me. With God’s help I know I will continue to overcome, and prosper – anyway!
But you ain’t slick. I saw that nip slip LOL!

preach! heres one of my all time favorites quotes
xoxo
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.”
Marianne Williamson
