I recently received an advance copy of the two-disc set by recording artists Junior Senior from Rykodisc and Crunchy Frog Records. Their latest album just released here in the U.S. Hey Hey My My Yo Yo, is being companioned with an EP entitled Say Hello, Wave Goodbye both of which I love!

Hey Hey My My Yo Yo (originally released in Japan in 2005, where it went to #2 on the charts) doesn’t disappoint with the dynamic Danish super duper duo Junior (aka Jesper Mortensen) Senior (aka Jeppe Laursen) return in top feel-good form, complimenting the party energy they’re known for, with their one of a kind Mamas & the Papas-meets-Sugarhill Gang sound. This album has already garnered enthusiasm as its first single “Can I Get Get Get” has already been featured in an episode of the ABC’s hit series and on of my current TV favorites Ugly Betty.
