Star Jones Reynolds almost four years after had gastric bypass surgery to control her obesity and now for some reason finally is trying to opening up about it! Here are some of the memorable quotes from part 1 of ABC’s Diane Sawyer Good Morning America interview.
Star on what she told herself about being fat:
“I had always been this girl out there who said I would die fat and happy,” “What a lie.”
Star on needing extensive therapy to talk about weight loss surgery:
“I wish I could explain what emotionally crippling control is,” she said. “It took me a long time in therapy to be honest with you, to open up.”

I love Star Jones. I been watching her on television like forever. She really don’t owe anyone an explanation. That is her business how she lost her weight. Some say that she wanted a lot of freebies, well doesn’t most celebrities get a lot freebies. I think because she was a black women that was a problem for white american. Not to mention the fat girl get the pretty man didn’t help matters either. I am just saying….I wish her the best!
