August 16, 2007 New Video: Nicole Scherzinger
Check out Nicole Scherzinger in her new video for her debut single “Whatever You Like”. First off, she’s super duper gorgeous. Second, even though she missed some of the execution on the weird and earthy movements the first box scene was mind-blowing!! Third, even though the video was initially really jarring, I love the cinematography of the video.
This is a bad habit of mine but every time I listen to a song or watch a video, they always remind me of other videos. When I saw this video this is what I thought of:
Madonna’s “Human Nature”, Beyonce’s “Ring The Alarm”, and Tamia’s “Stranger In My House”.
At the end of the day I guess we all have our influences and I do like the video! I think the overall point of the video was accomplished which was to show how naturally beautiful Nicole is. Nicole S. has clearly put everyone in the game on notice!

Utterly WHACK! Great song, hot solid beats, but that was pure shit! Boo…i don’t know. And not digging the “box” and random poses. AND HER HIDEOUS DANCING! Ew.

OKKKKKK….. da first part looked like she str8 ripped off all of Beyonce’s videos or rather her video rejects. lol. i aint hatin though. naw, but 4 real she looks like she’s tryin 2 hard 2 separate herself from PCD. And wut da hell is wit T.I. tryin 2 b sexy? I bet Tiny aint like dat.

The video is cool even though she did ever corny idea from past videos. She better back off of TI before Tiny cap her though. LOL!!

the box idea , is from a performance artist in the 90’s … she was based in ny . The whole show was her in a little box contorting her body … so maddonna bit her too .. the song is cute ,the cinematography is nothing new … I think they want her to take beyonce’s place … why she look so dark in the video … They got to come with something better

Video concept: Unique
Her dancing: Uhhh, not quite
I would’ve like to see the concept as something a little more futuristic, asian inspired though cuz that’s what the track gives me.

MORE POLOW!!!! lol But seriously, this video is one that I would like to see more of cuz it gave good eye appeal. Chili and I are still upset at her for taking that beat though.

like the song…hate the video….and dare I say it…I almost wish she was with PCD if this is all she is bringing in terms of dancing/music video execution
oh and T.I. needs to take his skeletor behind home to his chilluns and Tiny……and heck let’s be real…when is him and Tiny gonna make a video/album??? she can sing a heckuva lot better than Nicole, got a ghettofabulous attitude like a Keyshia Cole too???…AND ’tis the season for musical comebacks…I’m just saying, Momma need to make money too!!!
