August 1, 2007 Usher After Canceled Wedding: ‘Everybody’s Fine’
Oh no, say it ain’t so! Just when we all thought Michael Jackson Jr. a.k.a. Usher regains his right mind, he fools us again.
The media was buzzing over this past weekend when the word dropped that Usher’s wedding to his great aunt Tameka Foster was canceled the same day it was scheduled to take place. We all were praying that divine intervention stepped in and stopped disaster from striking. Apparently not though after he interviewed with Usmagazine.com and set the record straight.
Though he still gave no details about why the wedding was canceled in the first place, Usher was quoted as saying:
“As of right now we don’t have a date but we will let you know when we do.”
Straight from the horses mouth (Tameka Foster):
“We’re good. We’re all doing great now.”
*burps up portions of my lunch after typing this nonsense
Tameka also spoke to People.com regarding the rumors of her being checked into the hospital due to pregnancy difficulties. She confirmed, “we had a scare. But, I am fine and the baby is fine.” Maybe the “pregnancy difficulties” came after Usher had a look at the ultrasound and realized the world was going to see its first half-human half-animal child born?

Love is blind! So what if Tameka is not a model! Usher loves her and thats all that matters! Look at all these Hollywood marriages that end in divorce because they are trying to fullfill this ideal image of beauty and love. Tamika seems like a regular person and that is probably refreshing and why Usher loves her!

i don’t think its funny to make fun of her having problems with her pregnancy. i know my aunt had a scare with my cousin and it was the most frightening thing i’ve ever been a part of to date. its nothing to make fun of and we all need to respect Usher’s choice and respect the soon to be mother of his child.
