Fashion Disaster: Bootie Rockin’ Everywhere!

August 1, 2007

Not all fashion is created equal! Moreover, not all high end designers always make the mark for creating beautifully crafted pieces or items that we would want to buy. Boots and Booties have been making their rounds on collection scenes for the upcoming fall. However, tragedy ensues with the following items…

Tragedy Case #1…Marc Jacobs

These Mary Jane Boots by Marc Jacobs are an undisputed no-no! We had to clutch our pearls and pour some salt on the images of these boots to fight the ugly!

Tragedy Case #2…Roberto Cavalli

What started off as a seemingly good design model was ruined by someone’s inability to listen to the age old advice that “less is more!” The skull emblem on the back completely destroyed what could have possibly been a nice pair of low level boots. The horror!

Final Tragedy…Dior

How dare you come out with something that is both hideous & out of style? These Cannage Flat Suede boots were the trend about two winters ago? Did they think no one would notice?
