July 20, 2007 In Case You Were Wondering…No More Fugees
Pras keeps it really real everybody! He wants you all to know that the Fugees will never be back, and he’s blaming it all on Lauryn Hill:
“We went in the studio and recorded a couple records that were incredible. But, to put it nicely, it’s dead,” says Pras. “Me and Clef, we on the same page, but Lauryn [Hill] is in her zone, and I’m fed up with that sh*t. Here she is, blessed with a gift, with the opportunity to rock and give and she’s running on some b*llshit? I’m a fan of Lauryn’s but I can’t respect that.”
This saddens us! Imagine the hot fire that could have potentially been Wyclef’s producing and writing genius combined with Lauryn’s lyrical prowess and Pras’ flow. As the old heads continue to fall off and fall out of the biz, we keep wondering who’s going to save the music?

of course, after seeing/hearing about her latest performances, this comes as NO surprise. what is surprising is that she’s creating incredible records these days…clearly she’s not playing her guitar on those. I saw her at a Sprite Liquid Mix Tour years ago and even then people were unimpressed. I think I got up to get something to eat.
