Isaiah Washington: Time Out!

There is no rehab for homophobia – that was just some crap being put out by the network. I went into an executive counseling program which many people in this industry know about and go to. They knew what the program was but chose to call it what they wanted to fit their agenda. And more importantly, I volunteered for it because I wanted to understand my fight with Patrick and how it got out of hand like that. I thought [ABC, who he claims didn't pay for the treatment] sending me meant they actually wanted me to succeed and come out on the other end.

The actor also says that his race was his downfall. During his fight with Dempsey, he says:

Someone heard the booming voice of a black man and got really scared and that was the beginning of the end for me. I apologized and showed my remorse for what I said and for the pain I caused anyone. If a black man can’t get forgiveness in this country, when so many other people like Robert Downey Jr. and the governor of California get second and third chances … I think that says a lot about race and this country where we stand. It didn’t help me on the set that I was a black man who wasn’t a mush-mouth Negro walking around with his head in his hands all the time. … I had a person in human resources tell me after this thing played out that ’some people’ were afraid of me around the studio. I asked her why, because I’m a 6′1″ black man with dark skin and who doesn’t go around saying ‘Yessah, massa sir’ and ‘No sir, massa’ to everyone?’

Whoa, whoa, whoa! First off, Robery Downey Jr. went to rehab for drugs–not for being an asshole. And secondly, nobody called you out because you were African-American and just because you are doesn’t mean that you can’t be prejudiced against other people. Comparing this situation to slavery is the lowest road you can take, Isiah. Shame, shame.

Pasha’s partner Jessie had a bit of a medical emergency, so he danced with Melanie Lapatin, the assistant to choreographer Tony Meredith. It definitely seemed awkward watching him dance with her, but he killed the cha cha!

The Spice Girls arrived yesterday for a photo-call at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, Great Britain. New album here we come! Are you love muffins ready? I know you guys might not agree with me but I’m kinda excited to see if they can pull it off.

Jennifer Aniston: The Magic Stick!

Apparently, Jennifer Aniston feels as though she’s had her cherry popped all over again! An insider close to the actress says that she cannot stop raving about her new love-slave, Paul Sculfor. She claims to have said that his (*erm*) “member” was “magical”. Jennifer seems to be a little too rough for Brad Pitt who was probably a little too pretty to handle her the way she wanted. Vince Vaughn was probably able to dish out all she needed and then some, but probably lacked the physique and appearance the american beauty desired. With Sculfor, she’s found the perfect mix and she couldn’t be happier!

BET Network: Over It Or Onto Something?

BET is soon launching its anticipated new show “Hot Ghetto Mess”. Stemming from the Hot Ghetto Mess site, the T.V. show will examine the ins and outs of popular black culture. Comedy, Interviews, media and other resources will be used to examine certain trends and popular symbols and how they affect American Lifestyle.

The host will be none other than Charlie Murphy. “Hot Ghetto Mess” is supposed to expose certain ideals and images we accept on a day-to-day basis and determine their impact and influence on our present and future status as a nation. The show is supposed to boldy go where no show has gone before.

Catch the premiere: Wednesday, July 25th @ 10:30 pm.

Reese & Ryan: All In The Family!

Reese Witherspoon & Ryan Phillippe try to make it work for the family gatherings. The former star-spouses teamed up to attend a talent event at their son’s (Deacon) school in Santa Monica. Little Ava was strutting along following mommy & bad boy daddy finishes the pack. Reese looks like she’s over it (with “it” being Ryan). With a face like that and a paycheck to match, I’m sure Ryan is kicking himself in the throat while Reese is laughing all the way to the bank.
