Why oh why must they toy with my emotions like this? CNN is now reporting that Paris Hilton is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow where it will be decided if she can stay at home or return to the big house. Hours after she was released, the judge who sentence her ordered her to appear in court tomorrow. The Sheriff’s department might be held in contempt of court because legally they did not have the right to release Paris from jail.

A spokesperson from the city attorney’s office was quoted saying:

“It is the city attorney’s position that the decision on whether or not Ms. Hilton should be released early and placed on electronic monitoring should be made by Judge Sauer and not the Sheriff’s Department,”

It’s official! Isaiah Washington, who plays Dr. Burke on America’s #1 show, will not be returning to Grey’s Anatomy this fall. ABC has confirmed that his contract has not been renewed. He released a statement through his publicist saying, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it any more.” Aren’t publicist supposed to make you sound good?

I believe people have the right to say whatever they want but they should be willing to accept the consequences. The truth is simply this. If anyone else in the real world went to their workplace and screamed out prejudice comments (whether they be sexist, racist, homophobic), they would probably get fired. He deserves the same. To be honest I wasn’t expecting him to get fired because the show is #1 and Hollywood usually only cares about money. I’m glad to see ABC show some backbone.
