Finally, it’s here! We’ve read the script for this film and it is going to be amazing! American Gangster, the latest project in production from Ridley Scott, is about a drug mogul who smuggles heroin into 1970’s Harlem by hiding his cash crop inside the coffins of American soldiers returning from Vietnam.

The movie is holding some all-star talent to its slate as well. Denzel Washington & Russell Crowe lead the film. However, Cuba Gooding Jr. also is attemping to make a come-back. Rappers T.I., the RZA, and Common have major supporting roles as well. So splendiferous!

The movie is set to come to a theatre near you November 2007.

Can we even believe this!? Paris Hilton has already left the slammer due to an undisclosed “medical condition”. The girl’s sentence goes from 45 to 23 to 3 days! She was well enough to go to the MTV Movie Awards but all of a sudden she’s sick. Could it have been a herpes flareup, is she pregnant, is it a hangnail? I wanna know dammit! Several sources claim she cried herself to sleep, and she was mortified by the full cavity search. We’re sure she’s used to all kinds of things going in her cavities, so that’s ridiculous!

Hilton has been credited with five days of time served and will spend the remaining 40 days of her 45-day sentence confined to her home wearing an ankle bracelet with a range of 3,000-4,000 square feet.

Her lawyer, Richard A. Hutton, has been working over time, going in and out of the jail in the three days she’s been there. Looks like the Hilton family had him working for his paycheck because we may see Paris back in the Hollywood spot light much sooner than expected. Before the morning is over, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department will give us all the details in a news conference.

Well, well, well, looks like Akon will get his dues for that last bit of ridiculousness he pulled. In our previous post, we showed you how the whiny crooner slammed a concert goer into the crowd of onlookers. This time, people may be going for moolah.

Detective Lt. John Berlingieri said the concert goer tossed by Akon was a 15-year-old resident of Harriman, Orange County. Fishkill police know the teen’s name but would not release that information.

On Sunday at Dutchess Stadium, during a concert staged by Fishkill-based WSPK (104.7 FM), the 15-year-old boy was plucked from the crowd by a security guard, hoisted in the air by Akon and hurled back into the crowd.

Abby Rosa of Delaware County, on whom the 15-year-old landed after Akon tossed him, said she has retained an attorney and spoken to the Fishkill Police Department about the incident. Rosa said she suffered a headache immediately after the incident; then blurry vision; and was later diagnosed at a hospital with a concussion…

Rosa said the teen who was tossed and hit her didn’t appear injured. But, she pointed out, she was injured and doesn’t have health coverage.

“Somebody is at fault and it’s not my fault,” she said. “I definitely want an apology from Akon.”

First you viciously hump a 14 year old girl, and then you launch a 15 year old boy into (and onto) a crowd of screaming teens. Suburban teens at that. I smell a potential lawsuit in the air!

I was reminded to write this post about the orgasmic Chris Evans after I saw him at the MTV Movie Awards last Sunday. Chris had to be the sexiest man at the awards and in Hollywood in general that night.

Chris, a Massachusetts native, has made supporting role appearances on television series such as ‘Opposite Sex,’ ‘The Newcomers’ and ‘Boston Public’ but his breakthrough role came when he starred in the comedy ‘Not Another Teen Comedy.’

When he took off his shirt in ‘Not Another Teen Comedy,’ I instantly became his number one fan! After being stuck for a while in only comedic roles, Chris displayed a completely different side of himself in the 2004 thriller ‘Cellular’. That was followed by appearances in releases like ‘Fierce People’ and ‘The Fantastic Four.’ What’s next for our F.B.D.? Well starting next week, Chris Evans returns to the big screen as Johnny Storm the Human Torch, in ‘The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer’ which will be followed by ‘Sunshine’ (July 20th 2007).

Last night I attended the 8th Annual Hollywood Black Film Festival Opening Night Gala and it was a blast! I know that I have been hard on Schatar “Hottie” Sapphira Taylor from VH1’s FOL Season 2 and Charm School for looking extremely unsettling but after chatting with her I realized that there might be more to her than what meets the eye. Schatar was extremely well spoken, gracious and and her new brown hair weave is a big improvement over her pass blonde madness. So love muffins I want you to be nice to her, okay.

My love muffin, Tanya Kersey (above) the founder of HBFF was on hand to make sure the event ran smoothly.

The always upbeat Tommy Davidson made an appearance to show his support for HBFF.

One of the world’s funniest people, Sheryl Underwood & V100 Morning Show’s Cliff Winston hosted the event; Sheryl called me out by saying that we “would be a great couple.. but only if I was the woman and she was the man!” Check out this outrageously hilarious video below of Sheryl Underwood, at her best!
