The video above has been circulating the net and blowing up the Youtube comment chain after the BET Awards last night. It’s Kylie Minogue’s opening performance of “Come Into My World” dressed as the “Queen of Metropolis” during her 2002 Fever Tour. Below, we have the video of Beyoncé’s performance on the BET Awards.
Note the similarities, and let us know what you think love muffins. Would you call this copy catting or do you think it’s just a case of “borrowing” an idea? I think not!

Beyonce is notorious for ripping off other and better artist’s ideas, choreography, and costumes. It’s just more of the same old, same old.

I would have to totally dissagree with all of these specualtion of Beyonce copying someone…I mean it is Beyonce…And my opinion is that Beyonce’s performance was just to perfect for some, and they had to point out the bad out…And if any of you people were aware of any celebrities concepts for ther performances, you would know that they aren’t even the ones who come up with it…My ipinion is that Beyonce did an amazing Job…And she will continue to do such!

ok… kylie was in the buiessness way befor beyonce could walk… and other artists when they copy some other artist they morph it to thier own style and they would actually say ether in the concert or in a press release that they were inspiered by this artist and that artist… but taking it and recycling it to the point it’s right there and you say “hay… it looks familer” and she gose out and say “ya I wrote this and produced that and that is my idea and I choreographed that” it just pissing me off…. beyonce is talented… and she can sing and dance…. so come up with a new thing (choreography, songs (not remakes, or samples)…. just go out and get wayed robenson or something.

Ya its a bit ridiculous that Beyonce (and or, her people) can’t come up with an original idea. She is clearly talented, but that does not in any way excuse her from taking the concepts of others as if they are her own. How can you respect an artists who doesnt create thier own work. As a singer and dancer she’s one of the best. But as a bonafide performance artist, after seeing all of B. Scott’s posts, I dont think she’s earned that right. Even if she does look damn good.

To be honest Im not surprised. SHE STEALS EVERYTHING. She hogged the microphone from her former band mates for years during their careers in Destiny’s child, and the spot light. She stole the cover of vibe, and a 4 page spread from Kelly Rowland. Desiree’s song, Kylie’s Robot, Britney’s routine, copied Ciara’s “like a boy” video, she straight bucked Shakira’s “aye”, hell she stole her own groups routine, to upgrade her performance at the MTV award show. I am not surprised at all. I still love her though. What ever keeps you a float Beyonce….what ever keeps you a float!

Don’t forget. She tried to steal the credits for “listen” and irreplaceable, until the night of the BET awards, when she was obviously forced to make a public retraction to the claims for writing the song. How embarrassing, yet convenient on her part, I think she caught wind of Jay-z and Neo’s great relationship with Rihanna, and decided to mend her bridge. Good for business kind of thing. Oh and as for the Oscars, they weren’t having that mess. Beyonce wasn’t even factored in the credits for listen. I’ve noticed that she’s not all that bright, and can’t really articulate a sentence. As she demonstrated at the BET awards stating on the podium that she’s “not really good at accepting speeches” LOL. So how could she have written a song, as sophisticated as irreplaceable? I THINK HECK NOT. But I love her still. I dance to her music and all. What ever it takes to say a float Beyonce. What ever it takes to say a float
