June 19, 2007 New Music Tuesday: Mandy Moore’s Wild Hope!
Mandy Moore’s latest album, Wild Hope, came out today and I love it! The album was co-written with Lori McKenna, the Weepies, Rachael Yamagata, and a slew of other critically acclaimed singer-songwriters. Wild Hope was recorded at Allaire Studios in Woodstock, NY and produced by John Alagia. It serves as a quintessential expression of Mandy’s true love of music and showcases her foray into songwriting. I really like Wild Hope because it’s a splendiferous folk album with pop sensibility!
Here’s my pick as the standout track from the album. “Gardenia” is such a beautifully sung and written song. Enjoy love muffins!
