In the movie The Fifth Element with Bruce Willis, French actress Maïwenn Le Besco did a stellar job playing character, Diva Plavalaguna. This blue alien diva of delight murdered this song! However, Miss Le Besco was not the voice behind the music. Opera Singer, Inva Mula delivered this song entitled “Il dolce suono (Lucia’s Aria)” from the opera Lucia di Lammermoor. Amazing! Orgasmic! Her voice sounds like four different instruments combined. No synthesizer will ever create the sound she projects naturally. Le Besco’s acting and choreography combined with the power and variety of Mula’s voice created a historical performance that became a breakout moment for the sci-fi production.

Yesterday, Lloyd’s of London insured America Ferrara’s smile for $10 million. The agreement wasn’t made in vanity’s sake. She joined forces with Aquafresh White Trays, which vows to give $1 from the sale of each tray to Smiles for Success—an organization that provides dental care for welfare women who enter the workforce. She’s one of the many celebrities to have a body part or attribute insured with Lloyd’s of London such as Keith Richards, Bette Davis and Claudia Schiffer. Congrats again to America!

Gwen Stefani confidently hit the stage at The Sound Advice Amphitheatre in Miami last night in the midst of the controversy surrounding Akon. Right after Akon finished his opening set, Gwen took the stage in a jail cell wearing the traditional white and black jailbird colors and began singing: “I’ve been a real bad girl.”

As previously reported Verizon Wireless abruptly pulled out as the presenting sponsor on Gwen Stefani’s current tour due to Akon’s Trinidad shenanigans costing her $2 million. I wonder why Gwen decided to keep him on as the opening act…. I bet she secretly has a sweet tooth for chocolate!

Last Tuesday (May 8th) I had my second event at the über chic Eleven in West Hollywood and it was an splendiferous success! We had such a great turnout, drinks all around and orgasmic music!

Anastacia Mcpherson from CW’s The Search for The Next Doll, Ray from BET’s College Hill 3, Naima Jamal (makeup artist extradornaire) and countless others came out to get their party on in the VIP lounge!
