May 25, 2007 ABC: Rosie Will Leave ‘View’ Early
Well, well, well. Looks like Kelli’s birthday bash provided a little introspection for Ms. O’Donnell. ABC released a statement today that revealed the talk show queen will not return to The View.
Brian Frons, President of ABC Daytime, had this to say:
“We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave. Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to ‘The View’ and wish her well.”
Rosie’s response? She simply said it’s been an “amazing year.”

It’s too bad Elisabeth isn’t leaving with her. Both of those women are uninformed and painful to watch. At least Rosie got them talking about political topics!

Elizabeth should be the one leaving. The Donald said it best, she’s one of the dumbest people on television. The show will undoubtebly go down hill from here.
