Dear B.,

I’m looking to upgrade my boyfriend this summer and that includes getting him some new cologne. Do you have any suggestions of things I’d enjoy smelling on him? What are your top picks for men’s fragrances?

If it’s one thing I know about, it’s the eau de toilette! Here are my personal faves and top picks for your man…

1. Bond No. 9, sold exclusively by Sak’s, is a must-have! They are named by and based upon (in terms of smell) different areas of New York. Hamptons and Chinatown are two of my favorites! Bleecker Street and Central park also smell amazing.

2. Scents by Hermes!

Terre d’hermes smells orgasmic! Whomever uses it should apply small dosages. Too much may cause you to be groped by unknown admirers!

3. Hanae Mori…

It started out as a splendiferous fragrance for women that went crazy in terms of sales and popularity. Hanae took it back to the drawing board and unleashed a similarly sexy male version. A coup d’ etat!

4. Jean Paul Gaultier…

Classic. Affordable. A must-have!

5. John Varvatos…

Again, classic. Simple. A good scent to have in one’s arsenal.
