Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Henry VIII is simply perfection! The passion and conviction he brings to the role is remarkable. In last night’s episode Henry VIII continues his quest to obtain a divorce from Queen Katherine Of Aragon in order to marry Anne Boleyn. Maria Doyle Kennedy as The Queen Katherine Of Aragon rendered an outstanding Emmy-worthy performance as she begged Henry VIII not to divorce her in the court commissioned by the pope to make a decision as to the fate of their marriage.
