Allison Sweeney (“Days of Our Lives”), Lance Bass and other lesser known stars get their tree hugging on with TreePeople and E!. TreePeople.org teamed up with E! Television to plant one tree for each of the 800 guests attending the Golden Globes this year. This is a great event but apparently only great for the stars we aren’t really watching–the ones I like to call starlets. But kudos to these wonderful people giving their precious time to provide us with more oxygen and homes for squirrels. It comes as no surprise that these starlets are stuck with planting trees for their cause. The list of celebrities and their causes is getting longer everyday. Pretty soon there will be nothing left for us regular people, and that’s a good thing because I don’t want to dig holes in the dirt all afternoon anyway.

In the issue, America discusses how her parents wanted her to become a lawyer: “Acting was not something that they [America’s Honduran-born parents] came to this county to have me do. For a time I thought I could be a lawyer. Once I saw what it really meant to be a lawyer, I realized that it wasn’t for me. I thought it was like in the movies, like, ‘You can’t handle the truth!”

She also is candid about her weight issues: “Of course I want to be at a weight where I’m happy. There are times when I go to the gym and really try, and there are times when I just don’t. I gain a pound; I lose a pound. But I think I’ve developed a really good sense of when I’m doing something for myself as opposed to when I’m doing something because of other people’s expectations of me. And honestly, even if I wanted to be anorexic, I just don’t have what it takes. After four hours of being anorexic, I’d be like, ‘It’s been four whole hours! Feed me!”

I know that’s right! At least someone is eating in Hollywood!

Prom is coming up for me and I am not even close to finding a dress. I have a boyfriend that adores me and I’m known for being the trendy one at school. This prom, I really want to knock them dead. The problem is, unlike these spoiled little divas on Super Sweet 16, I can’t fly to Milan or Paris to find my top pick. I also can’t afford a stylist. I have money to spend, but not enough for all of that. I figured you would be the next best option! Do you know of any sites or places I could go to find a unique dress that will put me ahead of the pack?
