April 29, 2007 Keyshia Cole: Exposes Her Backside & Ruins “His Eye Is On The Sparrow”

.

Oh no she didn’t! Since it’s Sunday I thought I would bring you the worst version of “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” I have ever heard! I don’t know what happened but there’s no excuse for Keyshia’s disturbing vocals! She ought to be ashamed and banned from church! (B. Scott praying for the congregation that had to endure such an traumatic event! lol)

So Keyshia Cole apparently did an impromptu Easter Sunday performance at the City of Refuge Church where Grace Jones’ brother, Bishop Noel Jones, is pastor. Reportedly Keyshia was introduced by the wrong name, had a wardrobe malfunction revealing her entire backside and managed to deliver an undigestable version of “His Eye Is on the Sparrow” which got progressively worse each time she tried to make adjustments.

Britney Spears was pulled over by Beverly Hills police for allegedly speeding but was let off with a warning, authorities say. Slow down Britney! You’re doing too good to go and get locked up like Eve. Earlier that day, Britney continued to work on her fitness completing intense workouts at the Millennium Dance Studio and later the day she was in the recording studio with music producer JR Rotem (whom she briefly dated).

“Everyone talked about how happy she looked to be back in the studio,” says a source. “She came in focused from the start. She’s always been a pro when it comes to her music.”

Britney is clearly back in the zone preparing for her splendiferous comeback and I’m so happy for her! Keep your head up Brit!

John West: Soul Without Crooning

johnwest_4.jpg

John West is truly like a breath of fresh air. I heard about him through a friend of mine a while back but never took the time to take a listen. Today during a random outing to Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade I was pleasantly surprised by John West who was giving a live performance right in the middle of the Promenade! Instantly I was drawn into his striped-down soulful delivery, so I sat down and enjoyed the free concert!

John West on his music:

“In life, it’s scary when you’ve never experienced something before, but if a song can be a guide, or a road-map, that’s a beautiful thing,” says the now L.A.-based Southern boy who cites Otis Redding, Cat Stevens, Jill Scott and Jack Johnson as primary influences. “What I love about people’s reaction to my music now is that people tell me it soothes and relaxes them. It helps them get through hard days easier. And the reason I wrote half of these songs was to get through my own hard days.”

Pamela Anderson At L.A. Times Festival Of Books

13780728bsessoms428200772913pm.jpg

Westwood, Calif. Pamela Anderson was at the L.A. Times Festival of Books today to introduce PETA chief Dan Mathews. Some sources spoke badly of Mathews because of his extremely negative opinions on the death of beloved conservationist, Steve Irwin. Mathews was reported as saying that Irwin harassed animals and he is glad the man was dead. The event took place at UCLA. Pam was looking a bit as if she left her make-up at home or else had a bit too much sun. Still she is one who can get away with that! But what the psycho bunny was about, I have no clue.

Scorching Summer Sequals

1. Spider Man 3

spiderman_black.jpg spider-man1.jpg

See Tobey Maguire & Kirsten Dunst tear up the screen for the third time. The cinematography for this film looks amazing gauging from the screenshots available. A definite guaranteed blockbuster.

2. Shrek The Third

3. Pirates of The Caribbean: At World’s End

Captain Jack Sparrow is at it again. No one, and I mean no one, could have done this role except Johnny Depp. He has such a talent for bringing the eclectic characteristics and delicate rare traits of his roles to life. This is another guaranteed blockbuster!

4. Ocean’s Thirteen

oceans_thirteen.jpg

Brad Pitt & George Clooney have an undeniable connection on screen. Their natural chemistry, in my opinion, carried both Ocean’s 11 and Ocean’s 12. However, the all-star supporting casts that they manage to compile time and time again never disappoint!

5. The Bourne Ultimatum

6. Rush Hour 3

7. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

The little children of Hogwart’s are all grown up! We already know about Harry’s ongoings outside of the PG-13 genre. He prefers work where clothing is optional! But, like the others, HP: Order of the Phoenix will definitely bring out your inner child.

8. Live Free or Die Hard

Big Bad Bruce is making his big screen return this summer in this nostalgic action-packed flick. Will Ashton be his date to the premiere?
