Ozzy’s wife will replace R&B singer Brandy as a judge on the reality show, “America’s Got Talent.” Brandy, who was involved in an LA car crash last year that killed a 38-year-old woman, said in a statement that she “couldn’t give the new season the attention and commitment it deserved.” It’s likely that the two wrongful death lawsuits that have been filed against Brandy on behalf of the woman’s family are why she won’t be able to “commit.”

Sharon O. will team up with existing judges David Hasselhoff and British media personality Piers Morgan. None other than the irrepressible Jerry Springer will host the show, which offers a $1 million-prize to its winner.

Simon Cowell, famous judge of American Idol, said, “On this show, it just had to be Sharon Osbourne.” Cowell is also a an exec producer for America’s Got Talent, which is going into its second season.
