You heard correctly. Sanjaya will be attending a White House Correspondents Dinner and possibly meeting President Bush. Sanjaya may have some friends in high places but they weren’t high enough to keep him on American Idol. Sanjaya is actually a part of the People Magazine Guests table. Other People Magazine guests: Eddie Izzard (You know him from The Riches, but he is also a hilarious stand up comedian), Valerie Bertinelli, Tim Gunn of Project Runway, and others. Perhaps the President will make him the Secretary of Funky Hairdos. This country needs just such a person.
