Oh my lord! I went back and found Des’ree’s “Kissing You” that we previously reported Beyoncé recently covered and let’s just say Beyoncé shouldn’t have touched it with a ten foot pole! I don’t know what rock (Ahoskie) I was under at the time this song from Romeo + Juliet (1996) came out but it has blown me away! Des’ree’s version is clearly the definitive version of the song and highlights the reason why you shouldn’t cover a song unless you can do it justice! Des’ree left no room for anyone to cover “Kissing You.” Period!

I remember when I first watched the movie and heard this song, I instantly fell in love with it, I ran home and with the magic limewire downloaded it, it’s my favourite song to this day
