Since we’re talking about Hollywood I thought I’d just put some images up from the Hollywood Hills Fires last week. Turns out the fires were accidentally set by two teens visiting from Illinois. They told arson investigators that they were in the woods lighting twigs (is that what they are calling joint now?) on fire and a blaze ensued. The teens have a court date and are facing 6 months to 3 years in juvenile hall. They were released and allowed to return to Chicago as long as they show up in California for their court date.

The flames came within 50 feet of an apartment building and and nearly right up to the Hollywood sign. Personally I thought if it did get burned we could have gone with a more glamorous look!
