I feel a disturbance in the force. Once again, the meaning of a good date movie is evolving. Filmmakers are saying “Hey! We can make an epic war drama that girls will actually want to see!” And they have been successful! I call it the “Ab” treatment. Long ago it used to be that warriors wore armor, but these days in Hollywood less (clothing that is) is more and sexy male bodies are hot! The movie 300 was a box office success and now Pathfinder, with a very hot Karl Urban, promises the same hot combination of bloody battles and dreamy guys. Pathfinder is set for release this Friday, April 13, 2007. Be sure to check it out and take a date!
