We are ending our week of F.B.D’s from “300″ with David Wenham. David Wenham (Dilios) was already an award-winning star in his native Australia when he garnered international attention for his work in such acclaimed features as Baz Luhrmann’s “Moulin Rouge” with Nicole Kidman and the last two installments in Peter Jackson’s blockbuster “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy. In “300″, David Wenham stars as Dilios in the epic movie about the Battle of Thermopylae, in which King Leonidas and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspired all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy. Love Muffins you have to go see this movie this weekend!

Joss Stone’s third album, Introducing Joss Stone, hits stores on March 12th and it’s absolutely brilliant. The 19-year old British soul singer finally grows into her mature sound and delivers a performance that is young, fresh, and new but doesn’t abandon its soul roots. She makes use of neo-soul street cred with cameos from heavy-hitters Lauryn Hill and Common as well as production from Raphael Saadiq. LOVE IT!
On her debut album, The Soul Sessions, few could believe that the person who was effortlessly belting out those ballads was 16-years old, much less a White girl. That debut was nothing short of amazing, but you always got the sense that she would be able to do so much more once she was able to develop a sound was truly her own. This album displays her growth as a woman and as an artist. I must say this is a step in the right direction.
Here’s her lead single “Tell Me ‘Bout It”

OKay, this is getting RIDICULOUS. I thought I made it perfectly clear in my earlier post that Sanjaya Malakar was creeping me out. But apparently America was not listening and kept this guy on the show. Even he was shocked to still be there. Isn’t this supposed to be a SINGING COMPETITION? I know there are very few standout performers on the guys’ side but I don’t care which way you look at it—HE’S HORRIBLE. How is “Mr. Jungle Book” getting all these votes? Whoever is voting for Sanjaya, please reveal yourself so we can publicly humiliate you!
Some of you in the comments have pointed out his resemblance to Mowgli from The Jungle Book! See for yourself!

This may be good time to reveal my American Idol Mini-Crushes. Last year it was Ace Young (applaud a moment for Ace!) but this season, I’m really feeling Blake Lewis and Chris Richardson. I just think these two are so cute!! Am I slowly losing my mind from all of the American Idol wackness or are these two guys really hot?

Many may remember that our Monday post revealed this picture of Salma Hayek and took special notice to her JELLY BELLY. We know that she is voluptuous but this was a little out of the ordinary. As it turns out, SHE’S NOT FAT…SHE’S JUST PREGNANT!
The 40-year old actress also announced that she is engaged to the future baby daddy, French billionaire businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, 44, and the two are expecting their very first child together later this year. ($ounds $weet)
Her publicist, Ina Treciokas, recently stated, “Businessman, Francois-Henri Pinault, and his fiancee, Salma Hayek, are happy to announce they are expecting the arrival of their first child.”
I couldn’t be more happy for her. But I’m even happier to see that stomach wasn’t all her her own doing. Munch up Salma…You’re eating for two now!
Here are some pictures of the couple in April 2006 at the opening of Palazzo Grassi.

Morning Love Muffins,
Today marks the 10th anniversary of the death of one of the greatest rappers to ever touch the mic: The Notorious B.I.G. The man was just a genius wordsmith and his influence can be seen with every rapper around today. “One More Chance” was my favorite videos of his because it wasn’t about girls, cars, or money. It’s just a house party in Brooklyn…that’s real hip-hop. R.I.P. B.I.G!
