March 26, 2007 Anna Nicole Cause Of Death Is Announced
This one is no surprise. The autopsy report is in, and the medical examiner came to the conclusion that Anna Nicole Smith died as a result of accidental overdose. After a thorough investigation, the police found “nothing to indicate foul play”. The medical examiner, Dr. Joshua Perper, revealed there were no serious injuries and no evidence of pills in Smith’s stomach. Sources say that the substance that killed her was an overdose of the sleeping medication, chloral hydrate, but that has yet to be confirmed. This revelation is said to bring an end the investigation into Anna Nicole Smith’s death. Meanwhile, an inquest into the death of her son, Daniel, in September at age 20 is due to begin Monday in the Bahamas.
Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead continue to battle over custody of Dannielynn Smith. Birkhead recently took a DNA test in order to prove paternity. Stern is appealing to stop the DNA results from being read at the trial, which resumes April 3. Sounds like Stern knows he ain’t that baby’s daddy!
