.. but we still love her even though she couldn’t attend her own wrap party! So Monday I attended the wrap party for Bravo’s “Workout” which is a very popular show of my love muffins. Brian Peeler aka “Peeler” pictured above is one of the nicest people I have met since I moved here to LA and it just so happens that we’re both from Eastern North Carolina! We talked about how happy he is to be involved with the show and how far he has come from his days in Salisbury, North Carolina! (which is literally about 45mins from where I was born!)

Brian, 28 uses his southern charm inside and outside of the gym. Born and raised in a small town named Salisbury, North Carolina, he was labeled as a jock in his youth. Weather it was football, baseball or any other physical sport, Brian never shied away from the challenge. Brian is passionate about serving as a mentor and teacher to people who can benefit from an extra push in physical fitness. He managed to also find love inside the gym walls with his former client Kate. Brian’s fitness philosophy: Don’t over-train yourself and adapt your fitness regimen to your lifestyle. He feels there is no reason to give up drinking or doing things you enjoy as long as you are willing to do the work inside of the gym.

In addition to Brian Peeler, I had the great pleasure of meeting Alex Quinn, the son of two-time Academy Award® winning actor Anthony Quinn who decided to follow in his fathers footsteps and pursue an acting career.

Alex talked about how in 2006 he began hosting prominent private events for Hollywood’s elite. His company, Alex Quinn Presents, has brought together some of LA’s loftiest and most recognized faces for exclusive gatherings and functions. Alex’s fastidious attention to detail has shaped these events into the hottest ticket in Hollywood, with upwards of 1,000 people typically in attendance. With corporate sponsorship from a variety of companies, these events have generated wide-ranging publicity and industry praise.

Last but not least I ran into Howie from “Big Brother 7: All-Stars” and tell me why the first thing out his mouth was “Are you from ‘American Idol’?” You guys know I wanted to slap his a$$ but I have to give it to him what he said was pretty funny. I’m aware that with these short natural curls I’m rocking, I look like Justin Guarini’s twin! I can honestly say that after meeting Howie in person, I know for sure that he is the blunt adorable dense person I thought he was! All in all it was a nice outing with friends, that’s enough for now I need to go to bed to prepare for our launch party and my Quinceañera today! Happy Birthday to me!
