I wanted to alert you of a great teaser clip just added to YouTube from the upcoming Showtime series “The Tudors.” The clip shows lord William Compton played by Kris Holden-Ried seducing a young male singer, Thomas, in the dark, winding hallways of an English castle. The straight members of the royal court aren’t the only ones that get to have some fun!

This isn’t the first time Holden-Reid has played a gay character. He starred in a 2004 gay romantic comedy called Touch Of Pink. A link to his bio on imdb.com can be found here.

“The Tudors” premieres on Showtime on April 1! Bypassing the typical costume drama for a more scandalous take on the times, “The Tudors” will focus on the rarely dramatized, tumultuous early years of King Henry 8’s nearly 40-year, omnipotent reign of England.
