Eamon, the prince of ho-wop (a spin off of doo-wop music that focuses on the wrongness of lying, cheating women), was clearly a fly by night one-hit wonder with his old song “F*#@ You” (I don’t want you back). Well, Mr. Eamon has a song out that slipped completely under the radar. The song is called “How could you” and he is STILL coming with the same sing-songy tiredness that he gave us on the last song. AMERIE!
She came into my life singing “Why don’t we fall in love” and I wondered how long that love would last. Apparently, not long enough. But that song was my jam! This beautiful but boring R&B songstress made me wait YEARS before she struck back with “It’s this one thing”.
Well, the seductive Amerie has two songs out that are actually buzz-worthy. I want her to fire her marketing and promotions team ASAP! “What you are” and “Take control” are her latest and greatest. I like em’. See how you feel….
