We know that Nelly Furtado is indeed a Maneater – she told us so. But did you know that she was attending the University of Wynona Ryder and majoring in shoplifting?!

*gasp*

The sultry-sounding singer did a stellar performance in her breakout television role on CSI: NY. The episode entitled “Buried Some Bones” aired Wednesday night at 10 pm on CBS. Nelly was fantastic. She played the role of a high-level professional shoplifter who went to any extremes to procure the desires of her clientele!

I’ve always cheered for her because she is a true “Rags-to-Riches” story. Anyone that can go from working as a maid to taking over music, television, and soon, film – clearly either knows how to suck their way to the top or work their way to the top.

Either way — HARD work pays off!
