The California Highway Patrol has recommended that Brandy be prosecuted for misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter! A CHP source said the department has ruled out mechanical malfunction as the cause of the crash. CHP believes Brandy “was just going too fast” and “was the person at fault.”

As previously reported by us, Brandy was at fault in a FATAL accident at 10:30 AM on December 30, 2006 on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles, that eventually led to the death of Aboudihaj, a 38-year-old married mother of one.

If convicted, Brandy could face one year in L.A. County Jail and a $1,000 fine. Too bad for Brandy, Johnny Cochran isn’t still around!
