January 27, 2007 Justin Timberlake & Nelly Furtado Team Up For DISS TRACK!!!
I know this song has been out for a while but the new HQ version of the song just surfaced so I wanted to post it. For those of you who don’t know, Timberland, Nelly Furtado, and Justin Timberlake collaborated on a song for Timbaland’s new album Shock Value.
In the song, they each take turns dissing their respective haters. Nelly is rumored to be talking about Fergie, who reportedly altered much of her album at the last minute to fit the style of Nelly’s #1 hit “Promiscuous”. Timbaland disses his former piano player and protégé, Scott Storch, who has since gone on to become a successful producer. JT’s verse takes a major jab at none other than the petite purple-one, Prince.
I’ll fill you in. Back when “SexyBack” was taking over the radio, Prince yelled to a sold out crowd at one of his concerts, “For whoever is claiming that they are bringing sexy back, sexy never left!” This didn’t sit well with the Justin, who has long emulated and looked up to the diminutive popstar. In this song JT finally responded to the comment… by saying “If sexy never left, then why is everybody on my shit? Don’t hate on me just because you didn’t come up with it.” DAMN!

why is everyone acting like justin cant come back if someone says something about him? if prince would come out with a recent hit then he wouldnt feel threatened enough to have to even bother to comment about justin. Prince is a legend but having said that theres no reason for him to diss him just DO YOU Prince. Trust me no ones trying to take your throne…damn!

why should it matter who did who? artists should support eachother. “imitation sincerest form of flattery” JT puhleease, was hotter in N’STYNC. still a fan after all, just saying, truth hurts, and those artists think they rule the earth. what about the rest of us? “ur just the piano man” so? as long as some can play, since not all can. ouch, my gay JT ass is told. LOL.

First of all, Fergie started out with the diss “but I’m not promiscuous” on the track Fergalicious. What a bitch…she started it. Sorry she’s fat and she needs to take out that stupid eyebrow ring. And prince is pretty much over…I like what he did in the ’80s but, let’s face it…. Singing once at the superbowl doesn’t equate a comeback. He should respect the new generation of talent…and Justin is IT!

Well to be honest and not be a hater, JT is hot and doing his thing. There is no way in the world he can diss Prince!! Prince has a hotel in Vegas with his symbol on the side of the entire bldg. Didn’t Prince win two or three grammy’s from his last album? I think the diss was for Janet. Janet was on TV trying to act cute and you couldn’t hear her. She had a new cd come out and she wasn’t on the charts last week!!

why is AFRICAN AMERICANS in caps locks 1st of all? secondly… if he needs to carry on takin notes why is he the hottest star on the planet rite now? i think its the other way round but i think alot of them mite not hav finished high school so may find the note taking a tad difficult.

The fact that you are talking about it, is what artists want. Artists need publicity and the most effective publicity is word of mouth. Read into it as you wish but behind the scenes they are all virtually record label mates. Do you think JT would diss his idols sister (MJ)..ha ha everyone is desperate to work with the king of pop before he stops singing all together…its business pure music business.
