January 23, 2007 Isaiah Makes Amends!
Isaiah Washington, in fear of losing his job, is going into PR overdrive to deal with his homophobic remarks. He met with GLAAD and GLSEN today to discuss ways to remedy the situation. The two gay and lesbian organizations issued this joint statement:
demonstrate his sincerity in becoming part of
the solution to anti-gay bigotry”
Looks like its gonna take more than a half-assed apology to prove to everyone that he’s not a homophobe. I have to say that I’m not yet convinced.
