And all this time I thought homegirl J.Lo was just at home tending to her boo, Marc. Low and behold, MTV gave her a show. Now I hated on her ex’s hot mess show, Making the Band, from the jump but by season 3 I had the Danity Kane album. (***Insert foot in mouth here***) Anything with dance, strife, and a trailer with the aesthetics of a Dave La Chapelle video will be intriguing to me. It’s basically a dramatic reality show about dancers who are trying to make it big in Hollywood, but the characters are pretty diverse–the kid with a bad past, a Vegas show girl, the newbie, the dreamer, etc. It premieres on Jan. 15 on MTV, and I can honestly say that I will be adding it to my winter ‘must see tv’ list. She may not be able to act, but Ms. Lopez knows where else she can invest her efforts!
