This is looking to be a great week for Jennifer Hudson, who accepted the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actress last night. In addition, her stirring rendition of “And I Am Telling You” for Dreamgirls just entered at number 98 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. During her acceptance speech she said, “Who cares what Simon Cowell has to say?”. I couldn’t agree more. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, you’re really missing out. She and the rest of the cast are brilliant. Who knows maybe she’ll even get to take home a Golden Globe!
